Melissa is one of our behind-the-scenes heroes at Guinco as a Returns Clerk. Starting at Guinco was a fluid transition from her previous position at Lowe’s as an RTM/RTV Clerk. While she has a strong background in her line of work, she enjoys any opportunity to learn new processes or any fun facts about appliances. For her, being excellent means being the best and she incorporates that attitude towards her workday. Her favorite thing about Guinco is the friendly environment and the family values. Even though you might not have a chance to speak with Melissa, she’s always working with the team to improve your experience.
The youngest of four, she grew up in Callisburg and now calls Irving home with her wife and 4 furbabies: Meko, Bulldozer, Mary, and Jack. Playing with her dogs is one of her favorite ways to spend time with her family, but just ask her about her extensive reading list or new music and you’ll be introduced to a wealth of knowledge! Her favorite genre is country with Elle King being one of her all-time favorite musicians. While she’s already experienced exciting sites and events, she would like to one day visit the Grand Canyon, swim with dolphins, and see a Broadway play. In addition to her other pursuits, the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) has a special place in her heart. Her sister Erica was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and in October of 2018 she passed away. Melissa is deeply grateful for the support that the MSAA lent her family.
