The July sun appears to be turning up the heat here in Texas, so we’d like to share with you a few events going on around the Metroplex. Our home court is chalk full of activities, several designed to cool you off while having a great time. Take a peek at what we’ve found and see if anything suits you.

There are very few of us unaffected in some capacity by the events in Dallas on Thursday evening, July 7th.  Run for the Blue was founded in response to support fallen and injured officers and their families.  Run for the Blue Dallas is a 5K and 1 Mile run / walk on July 28, 2016.  There is no entry fee. You will have the opportunity to make a donation during registration. 100% of proceeds from the run will go to the families of Dallas officers lost in the July 7th attack.  If you would like to show your support, you can find detailed information regarding this event at https://raceroster.com/events/2016/9626/run-for-the-blue-dallas.
