FIELD SUPPORT SPECIALIST - OKC
Ms. Karen has been a member of our OKC crew for about a year, and has made the city of Yukon home with her teenage son, Drew and Sailor, a 7 year old ChiWeeniePoo. Bless you! She started out here in the Fort Worth office in our Claims Dept. a few years ago before making the jump to Oklahoma to support our OKC techs. Karen served 5 years as a Cryptologist in the World’s Finest Navy (thank you for your service, ma’am!), worked a stint as a hairstylist and did a little inventory managing for awhile. She comes from a large family of 6 who taught her mad survival skills and played a strong hand in the development of her ornery sense of humor.
When she’s not working out or hanging with fam and friends, the gorgeous Oklahoma countryside offers Karen the perfect setting for hiking, kayaking, exploring, and road trips! Karen is very creative and enjoys projects that let her tap into her creative side. She has literally everything from Classic to Rap in her music library. “The Big Lebowski” is the best movie and if you don’t agree “Yeah, well, that’s just, like, your opinion, man”. “Me Talk Pretty One Day” by David Sedaris is a fun book she recommends (it’s on our shelf too, Karen), as well as “The Glass Castle” and the classic “To Kill a Mockingbird”. Several favorite places crowd Karen’s outdoor preferences….the scenic mountains of Colorado are breathtaking and the Virgin Islands hold some pretty spectacular memories. She’s more of a “love the one you’re with” kind of sports fan, and loves GOING to the games, but doesn’t eat/sleep/breathe for any particular team. Might we proffer the teams of the Dallas/Fort Worth area to you, Karen?
